Confession.
/I've got a problem. I can't sleep! It's always the same: I go to sleep tired, but I wake up with a zillion ideas racing through my brain and am awake for at least an hour. I toss and turn hoping that if I get in the "right" position, I'll go back to sleep and all will be dealt with the next day. Well, I've had it.
I do sleep when I take a little bit of valerian, but I really don't want to rely on that every single night (although it really does help). At the beginning of the year, I cut out coffee - my single morning cup. While I do feel better, I still can't sleep! If you've expereinced this, you know how frustrating it can be.
I did a little research this morning on stress, anxiety, and sleep disorders. I was reminded that magnesium is essential to managing stress. It's my goal in the coming days/weeks to eat more of these magnesium-rich foods and see if that helps. And to drink more water.
Do any of you suffer from similar problems? How do you cope? I'd love to know your remedies!
