**Please Note** I have moved to Louisville, KY and am not taking any new clients before July 1, 2013. If you'd like to book something after that date, please email me. Thank you!

Are you ready to have a paradigm shift in your relationship to food? And never go back? Let's talk.

I received formal culinary training in 2005 from the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in New York City and now specialize in vegan and vegetarian cuisine as a food educator.

After culinary school, I worked as a cook at New York’s renowned vegan restaurant, Candle Cafe, and then as a personal chef to Manhattan and Brooklyn clients. I also completed a Bachelor of Science from The New School and have begun work on my Master's in Business Administration.

Now back in my home state of Kentucky, my full-time job is Owner & Chief Consultant at Bourbon & Beans.  However, The Wholesome Chef is my outlet in which to share my passion for fresh, simple and delicious foods. It is my goal to help you with the "how"; you know you need to eat better, but believe myths that it's expensive and time consuming. That's where I come in...guiding you in learning about and trying new foods in a fun, comfortable environment.

I offer a few public classes each month in the Louisville and Lexington area and present regularly for corporate wellness programs. Please call or email me to book a date for the following: Knife Skills; Vegan & Vegetarian Basics; Fish; Juicing & Smoothies; Kitchen Farmacy; Macrobiotic Diet; and Ayurvedic Cooking.

Hi Carolyn,

I'm really glad I had a chance to attend this class and meet you. I really enjoyed the food, format, venue and the thoughtful information that was included in the handout packet. This class was perfect for me.

Thank you and I look forward to attending your other classes.

Jeff

Carolyn,

I miss that you’ve discontinued classes at your kitchen on High Street and was very happy that I was able to attend last night’s class.

I had a great time and I really appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge of food with us.  I love that it’s healthy and organic and I always coming away having learned a lot and with new recipe ideas!  AND the food is always yummy!
